PlanetPlay’s Jude Ower MBE named an Aurora honouree at PocketGamer Connects London

PlanetPlay is proud to share that our Chief Strategy Officer, Jude Ower MBE, has been named as one of ten Aurora honourees celebrating women in the UK games industry for leadership, creativity, sustainability and long-term industry impact at PocketGamer Connects London.

Aurora is a new PocketGamer.biz initiative spotlighting outstanding women shaping the UK games ecosystem, across studios, services, leadership, community and advocacy, at one of the industry’s most established business events.

Jude has been recognised specifically for her work at PlanetPlay connecting games and gamers with environmental and social action through data-driven platforms and international partnerships – what we call Making Green Moves!

She has spent her career building bridges: between games and real-world impact, between brands and players, and between commercial ambition and responsible practice.

Aurora is also a celebration of collective progress and the many ways women are driving the industry forward through innovation, care for players, stronger teams, bolder creative choices, and a growing commitment to sustainability.

What makes Aurora especially meaningful is the breadth of experience represented in this year’s honourees. The 2026 recipients are:
